2017/2018 MSR-MJER Japanese Sword: OKUDEN COURSE!
The highest Sword level.
Excitement continues to build! The classes are filling up and there is a lot of interest in the DVD subscription plan.
Each month I will cover 2 core kata and their applications from each style along with multiple variations.
For Example: Lesson 1, Yukitsure, the first standing kata, has 3 different methods of stepping! The core has an avoiding step but there are also standing ground and entering steps! There are also 7 different methods of executing Yukitsure.
                                           Kasumi, the first squatting kata, will be shown in several directions while pointing out the hidden movements in the sweeping sword along with applying the technique of Kasumi from a standing position.
